Marie-Therese Png

Marie-Therese studied neuroscience for social conflict and the psychology of racial prejudice for her Master’s at Harvard. She is a PhDc at the Oxford University researching Global Inclusion in Artificial Intelligence Ethics, and is a member of the IEEE Ethically Aligned Classical Ethics Committee. She sits on the board of Common Purpose, a cross-boundary leadership organization focusing on cultural intelligence. Previously, Marie-Therese was Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab, and Policy Research Associate at the Harvard Artificial Intelligence Initiative, building the Global Civic Debate on AI. Her Afro-Caribbean and Chinese heritage has allowed her unique insight into the workings of implicit bias.

Genevieve Ennis

Genevieve is a researcher, designer and educator whose work centers on the identification of risk and the facilitation of opportunity within complex economic, technological and social networks. She has directed multiple initiatives that explore these topics and their relationship to neuroscience, AI, robotics, and space mining. Genevieve is a former fellow at the Harvard School of Engineering and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, and is the recipient of the Harvard Distinction in Teaching Award. She is a Faculty Member at Kaospilot in Denmark, and is a former Faculty Member teaching Intercultural Communications at the University of British Columbia, as well as Design Ethics at the Pratt Institute and the Rhode Island School of Design. Genevieve holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Communication, and a Master of Design in Risk and Resilience from Harvard University.
